| Nowadays,more and more optical materials are used in the field of textiles,leading to luminous fabrics constantly being developed,showing application potential in medical and other fields.Polymer Optical Fiber(POF)has become an ideal light transport material due to its softness,light weight and abrasion resistance,etc.,and the side-emitting fiber made from it is also a desired material for making knitted luminous fabrics.Therefore,the preparation of side-emitting POF and the its knitting process have become one of the research hotspots in the field of textiles and phototherapy.In this study,the chemical solvent method was used as the preparation method of side-emitting POF,and the Response Surface Method(RSM)was used as the research method to study and analyze the relationship between the preparation parameters of chemical solvent method and the properties of POF,then the parameter optimization was conducted according to the requirements of the project.In this thesis,after literature review,various preparation methods of side-emitting optical fibers were analyzed and compared,and the method of core-shell structural damage(a kind of chemical solvent methods)was determined as the preparation method;and the Central Composite Design(CCD)of RSM of was selected for experimental design and data analysis.Experiments were design based on 2 factors and 2 levels.The volume ratio in mixed solution of acetone and n-hexane,as well as the treatment time duration were determined as independent variables,and the light intensity,breaking strength,stiffness and curvature radius of the treated POF were chosen as response variables.In addition,several equipment such as solution container for treating POF and the device for measuring minum curviual radius of treated POF were designed and manufactured.On the basis of the analysis of the experimental results,the mathematical relations between the volume ratio of mixed solution of acetone and n-hexane and treatment time duration,and the light intensity,breaking strength,stiffness and curvature radius of treated POF were established respectively,as well as the changing trends were obtained,and experimental results were verified.The optimization experiments was also carried out according to the requirements of the project,and the good consistency between the predicted results and the actual values is obtained.The results showed that when the volume ratio of acetone to n-hexane was 0.94 and the time duration was 10.6s,the performance indexes of optical fiber light intensity 12.1838mu,breaking strength 5.5721N,stiffness593.9152N·m~2 and curvature radius 1.1576mm were obtained,which met the requirements of the subject. |
