The continuous pad dyeing machine is a multi unit joint production equipment in the textile printing and dyeing industry,mainly including unwinding,pad dyeing and rewinding units.In order to ensure the quality of fabric dyeing,the tension of the fabrics should be kept constant during the operation of the continuous pad dyeing machine.If the tension of the fabric is too large,the fabric will produce warp extension and weft contraction,and in serious cases,the fabric will break;If the tension of the fabric is too small,the fabric will produce loose slip and fold,which will seriously affect the dyeing effect.In this paper,the continuous pad dyeing machine is taken as the research object.Aiming at the problem of tension fluctuation in the running process of fabric,the main study is from the modeling of tension system,the design of control algorithm and the design of tension control system.Firstly,the continuous pad dyeing process and the overall structure of the pad dyeing machine are introduced,and the principle of fabric tension formation is analyzed.Based on the analysis of the change rule of the radius and the moment of inertia of the fabric roll in the unwinding and rewinding unit and the operation mechanism of the continuous dyeing machine,the mathematical model of the tension system of the unwinding,dyeing and rewinding unit of the continuous dyeing machine is established.Secondly,through the modeling and analysis of the tension system of the continuous pad dyeing machine,the tension system is a nonlinear time-varying system with strong coupling and multiple disturbances.The traditional PID control can not meet the control requirements of the tension system.Therefore,this paper uses the auto disturbance rejection controller to control the tension system.To solve the problem of how many parameters are difficult to adjust in the controller,a seeker optimization algorithm is proposed to adjust its parameters online,and the auto disturbance rejection controller of seeker optimization is designed.Then,the tension control scheme of each unit of the continuous pad dyeing machine is designed,and the mathematical model of each unit tension system is built by MATLAB/ Simulink and the simulation experiment is carried out.By comparing the simulation results of PID controller and seeker optimization auto disturbance rejection controller,the designed controller has fast response speed,good decoupling ability,strong anti-interference ability and good internal robustness.Finally,the hardware and software of the tension control system of the continuous pad dyeing machine are designed,and the configuration monitoring system and communication system are designed.The experimental results show that the controller designed in this paper has the advantages of fast adjustment speed,high control accuracy,good stability,and can better suppress the tension fluctuation caused by the internal and external interference.It is important to improve the quality of continuous pad dyeing production and improve the dynamic performance of continuous pad dyeing equipment significance.
