Hemodialysis is a treatment for patients with end stage renal disease.Polysulfone?PSF?,which had been widely used in hemodialysis membranes was used as basic membrane material in this research.Silibinin?SLB?and sulfonated polysulfone?SPSF?were blended as modifiers to improve the hydrophilicity,anti-oxidation and biocompatibility of pure PSF membrane.PSF/SPSF membrane?M0?and PSF/SPSF/SLB blended membranes?M1,M2,M3?were prepared by immersion precipitation phase inversion method.The results of SEM showed that these membranes were typical asymmetric structures.The results of XPS and FT-IR characterization showed that SLB was present on the surface of the membranes.Compared with M0 membrane,the surface hydrophilicity and permeation flux of M1,M2 and M3 membranes were obvious improved,the anti-protein adsorption effect was obvious enhanced,and the adhesion and deformation of red blood cells were significantly inhibited and had good cell compatibility.The anti-oxidation tests showed that the maximum removal rate of DPPH and ABTS+·radicals by the blended membranes could reach 52.55%and92.14%,which was significantly?P<0.01?higher than the pristine M0 membrane.The experimental results showed that the introduction of SLB/SPSF improved the hydrophilicity,oxidation resistance and biocompatibility of the PSF membrane.The SPSF-g-SLB graft copolymer was successfully prepared by the acid chloride method,and verified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and FT-IR.The pure PSF membrane?Mg0?and PSF/SPSF-g-SLB blended membrane?Mg1,Mg2,Mg3?were prepared.The contact angle test showed that the initial contact angle of the surface of the blended membranes with SPSF-g-SLB was significantly lower than that of the pure membrane?p<0.01?,and the contact angle of Mg2 and Mg3 membranes had fallen to 0°within 30 s.After adding SPSF-g-SLB,the pure water permeation flux and anti-protein adsorption effect of the membranes were significantly increased?p<0.01?.The blood compatibility test showed that the blended membranes inhibited red blood cell adhesion,platelet activation and had better cell compatibility.The anti-oxidation tests showed that the highest scavenging rates of DPPH and ABTS+·radicals for the blended membranes were 74.98%and 97.70%.The experimental results showed that the prepared PSF/SPSF-g-SLB blended membrane had great hydrophilicity,anti-oxidation and biocompatibility.
