At present,the application of planetary roller screw is getting wider and wider in our country,but the research on the basic theory of planetary roller screw is still not sufficient enough.There are mainly problems of domestic planetary roller screw such as transmission efficiency and precision are insufficient and the service life is short.In order to promote the design,manufacture and application of the planetary roller screw in China,a research has been made on the mesh and motion,mismatching tolerance,contact characteristics and transmission efficiency of the standard planetary roller screw by theoretical analysis and experimental testing in this dissertation.The meshing of planetary roller screw is calculated and analyzed at first,and the method to eliminate the meshing interference between the screw and the roller is put forward to solve the friction and wear at the initial stage of operation.The lead of planetary roller screw is calculated and the result is verified through a lead test.On the basis of the research above,the error of the processing of the thread of the planetary roller screw is analyzed,and the influence of the thread error on the axial clearance or the interference amount of the meshing of the planetary roller screw is calculated.The contact characteristics of the planetary roller screw pair are analyzed by using Hertz contact theory and finite element method.The influence of the axial load and the half-angle of the thread profile on the contact stress of the planetary roller screw pair are calculated.The model of planetary roller screw transmission efficiency is established,and the transmission efficiency test device is designed to test the planetary roller screw transmission efficiency.The test results prove the correctness of the theoretical calculation.The contents and the results of this paper provide theoretical basis and reference for the design and manufacture of the planetary roller screw.
