In hybrid simulation test,the structure can be divided into the test sub-structure and the numerical sub-structure,the experiment of the test sub-structrue can be carried out in the test machine in lab and the numerical sub-structure can be simulated on computer.The hybrid simulation test make it possible and convenient for the dynamic simulation of large structures with nonlinear elements.In this paper,several problems in the hybrid simulation test of a frame structure with nonlinear visco-elastic dampers were studied.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)For the data exchange between the test sub-structure and the numerical sub-structure,PMCI communication interface software programmed by C++ was developed.The real-time data exchange between the test sub-structure system and the numerical sub-structure during the test was realized.(2)The discretization calculation program of the frame structure and the user interface were developed.Combined the PCS8000 test machine,the data exchange program and the structure calculation software,a set of commercial hybrid simulation test system was established.(3)The parameter calculation software of the frame structure with visco-elastic dampers was developed by C++ and the dynamic response equation to earthquake.(4)Visco-elastic dampers in the frame structure were selected as the test substructure and the other part was regarded as the numerical substructure.Five kinds of numerical algorithms,Newmark-beta algorithm,central difference algorithm,Chang algorithm,CR algorithm and Houbolt algorithm,were compiled by MATLAB and were embedded into the hybrid simulation software in order to simulate the dynamic response of the frame under earthquake waves.(5)The results of the hybrid simulation and pure numerical calculation were compared in the aspect of the calculation speed,accuracy,stability and error for different algorithms.The time-delay,the effect of control,integral algorithm and the loading method on hybrid test result was discussed in the end.
