Automatic rifles are the main weapon of the infantry,and the auxiliary weapon of the other arms.Ensuring the safety and reliability of automatic rifles not only guarantees the safety of the soldiers,but also serves as an important condition for increasing the probability of winning in the war.Make typical failure of breech locking mechanism,ejection mechanism and feed mechanism of a certain type of automatic rifle as the top event,and the fault tree models are built.Then,measures for decreasing these failures are put forward.In order to study the locking action reliability of a certain type of automatic rifle,simplified virtual prototype model of locking action reliability is established.Then,parameter sensitivity analysis based on failure rate is carried out.The results show that radius of bolt carrier guiderail,radius of lock and unlock column and preload force of firing pin spring are the dominant factors which have main effect on locking action reliability.This paper conducts secondary development based on ABAQUS using Python to establish the parametric modeling interface of the extractor,interface of post-processing of ABAQUS is established in the same way to achieve data access and result export.Based on the orthogonal experiment,using matrix analysis method to explore the influence of structural parameters on the the strength of the extractor hook.The results show that three structural parameters of extractor hook(angle,chamfer and radius)have significant influence on the the strength of the extractor hook.The order of influencing mechanical property is radius>chamfer>angle.In this paper,by calling MATLAB neural network toolbox to establish a neural network model to predict the maximum stress of the extractor hook.Input layer of the neural network contains three nerve cells(angle,chamfer and radius)and output layer contains two nerve cells.The predicting results are basically consistent with the simulation data which show that the model has good adaptability and precision.This research and design method can provide guidance for the design of the automatic rifle,and a innovative research idea and method is obtained for the similar weapon systems.
