The establishment of an efficient intelligent transportation system is one of the important solutions to the rapid growth of car ownership,the avoidance of traffic congestion and the rational allocation of urban road resources.As an efficient road information acquisition device,the road vehicle monitoring system based on radar system has an extensive application prospect.Paper first analyzes the present situation of development at home and abroad in the field of intelligent traffic monitoring,according to the given technical indexes of pavement monitoring radar.Firstly,determining the frequency of radar system.and working system.Secondly,giving the detailed design of system solutions.Finally,determining the core components of the system.On the basis of studying the principle of radar LFM-CW,the algorithm of road vehicle monitoring radar is analyzed and studied.The multi-objective distinguishing,measurement of angle,ranging and speed measurement are respectively discussed.In terms of actual demand for multi-target detection within the road vehicle monitoring scene,detection scheme,OS-CFAR,is selected based on the order statistic,after a variety of algorithm is analyzed.Besides,simulation analysis is performed over detection methods,and the algorithm adopted for LFM-CW radar measurement of angle,ranging and velocity and its influence factors are studied.According to design scheme,the paper finished the hardware circuit design based on Zynq-7000 platform,including the FPGA core module,power supply module,ADC module,and interface circuit design,and completed the PCB wiring and plating.After the hardware debugging,the system was working properly.Then,the software development of radar algorithm and data acquisition were carried out on the designed hardware platform,and the basic function such as data sampling,filtering,FFT and algorithm processing module were realized.At last,combined with the RFFE,joint debugging of system hardware and software were conducted,and the performance of the surface monitoring radar prototype was basically satisfied with the design requirements after preliminary system test.
