Research On The Passenger Transport Development Strategy Of Kunming Railway Administration In The Era Of High-speed Railway

With the very first high-speed train starting off from Kunming Railway Station on Dec 28 th 2016,railway networks in Yunnan successfully set foot in high-speed train era.It is of great significance for the railway transportation networks in our country to witness high-speed trains travelling through mountainous regions in Yunnan.High-speed train transportation networks have been particularly characterized by its advantages in speed,frequency,capacity,environmentally-friendliness and safety,which thereby bring about enormous human resources,logistic resources and cash flow for Yunnan province.At the meantime,the enlarged social circles of people in Yunnan have also produced a fundamental change in the ideological views of people and in the way in which people live,and consume.New industrial plans,cities' economic circles and the rise of small and medium-sized tourist cities will definitely entail a new era in the history of Yunnan,which can also change the bad reputation of a lagged-behind province.It is hitherto too good an opportunity to miss,but the railway transportation enterprise in Yunnan is also faced up with the challenges posted by other transportation counterparts.The primary purpose to write this article is to discuss how we can work out effective and efficient strategies to tackling the problems in seizing opportunities in the fierce competitive market by our own merits and therefore occupying the highlands of transportation in Yunnan province bypassing our drawbacks.This article,first of all,lays the basic foundation of the research papers' backdrop,contents,approaches and ideas and meanwhile presents the technological blueprints.The article also includes analysis and conclusion on the strategies of railway transportation development in other countries.All the strategic management theories concerned and the approaches to analysis are also presented in this article,including Michael E.Porter's Competitive Strategy,Andrews target development theory,Macro environment analysis,and SWOT Matrix analysis,etc,paving the theoretical way for the successive strategic development.The article has also sorted out the opportunities and threats that Kunming railway transportation is confront with,by anglicizing and macro surveying the circumstances of the businesses carried out by Kunming Railway Bureau.Adopting field trip surveying,statistics analysis,model building,existing filing research,we have,in addition,given clear answers in this article about how Kunming Railway Bureau can maximize its advantages and merits and,at the same time,sidestep its disadvantages,on the basis of the primary existing problems of KM railway transportation services.Finally,we have drawn the conclusion of the optimum alternative strategies that can be adopted by KM Railway Bureau,in response to the results of SWOT MATRIX SELECTION.Suggestions and measures have also been put forward in the article on the target setting,planning,assessment,management of KM railway transportation services,by real time rating.As for some unsolved problems,we must consult with other scholars related.
