This article is based on research achievement of side slope of domestic and foreign experts and scholars.The slope of silty clay is used as the research object,to analyze slope stability before the excavation,confirming flow direction of surface water,to prepare for slope excavation in later period.rainfall is taken into account for the artificial slope of silty clay,analyzing stability of different slope ratio of excavation,the best slope ratio is ensured for the slope of silty clay,in accordance with excavation slope ratio that is selected at same times.It provides a theoretical basis for the design of similar soil slope ratio.Specific protection measures will be got according to slope ratio which was elected.This paper studies main research topics are as follows:(1)Analyzing and summarizing research method of predecessor about slope stability,combining geological investigation report and relevant experimental data,considering different condition of rainfall,stability analysis are acquired:1)stability analysis before the excavation,Infinite slope model and ArcGIS are used to analyze stability;2)Designating appropriate design of slope ratio,Midas GTS NX is used to analyze stability of different slope ratio,more suitable slope ratio of silty clay will be got;3)for slope ratio which has been selected,puting forward specific protection.(2)By means of Infinite slope model and Arc GIS,stabitily analysis map TIN map and Water collection map are got,slope is stable before the excavation,it corresponds to the actual situation.Guaranteeing safety in construction in earlier stage,providing some basis to construction organization for the excavation of the slope.(3)Adopting Midas GTS NX to caculate condition that includes 5 different slope ratios and 10 groups about rainfall.stability coefficient of two-dimension and three-dimension and strains of two-dimension and three-dimension are obtained,analyzing stability coefficient strains and the relationship between them.(4)In accordance with construction cost and factor of safety and so on,Appropriate slope ratio for high slope of silty clay is 1:1.3,coming up with suitable protection scheme for slope of silty clay.
