With the rapid development of the national economy,it is crucial to ensure the safe operation of the power transmission and distribution industry as well as to use various protection equipments to carry out the necessary protection of the power grid.Among the various protection devices,the circuit breaker is one of the important members which plays an irreplaceable role in the trunk lines and branches of the transmission and distribution lines.This article aims at the development trend of low-voltage intelligent circuit breakers at home and abroad,through the visits to the grid companies,we learned that the current grid companies are troubled with the maintenance of the lines and the resident users' demands for intelligent grids,a design scheme for an embedded low-voltage intelligent circuit breaker and its service platform was researched and designed.This article analyzes the working principle of the intelligent circuit breaker,points out the specific functions and technical indicators that the intelligent circuit breaker needs to meet,and gives the overall design plan.The FFT algorithm is used to calculate the power parameters,detailed description of various protection features.At the same time,this paper also analyzes the principle of anti-surge technology of intelligent circuit breakers.In view of the existing drawbacks of the existing intelligent circuit breakers in the sub-switching and closing,this paper proposes an improvement plan for the action execution module,and reducing the damage to intelligent appliances by using “soft”tripping and “soft” startup to reduce the surge voltage at the time of sub-switching and closing.IGBT is selected as the action execution device and PWM control technology is used as the drive source.The motion execution module is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink,and the simulation results are analyzed and compared in detail.Using ATmega328 p as the main control chip,hardware circuits such as data acquisition circuit,signal modulation circuit,action execution circuit,communication module,liquid crystal display module,and power supply module were designed.Eachfunction module was introduced in detail.A software design idea and a specific flow chart are given.WIFI is used for wireless communication and LabVIEW is used for upper computer design so that the community staff can quickly find fault points.Finally,the system's software and hardware were jointly debugged,and the protection characteristics were tested.The results show that all the functions of the device designed in this paper have been implemented,providing a theoretical basis for the realization of secondary protection in the district.
