The characteristic curve of the turbine plays an important role in the optimization of turbine design,economic operation and simulation of transient process,etc.In order to obtain the approximate mathematical analysis of the main parameters of Francis turbine,the mathematical model of the turbine efficiency and the turbine discharge is constructed based on the influence of the efficiency,the discharge and the existing test results.Taking the characteristics of the Francis turbine and the data of the integrated characteristic curve,using the basic principle of the turbine,the statistical rule of the basic parameters of the runner on the comprehensive characteristic curve and the relationship bet ween the geometric parameters and the opening degree.Due to the large differences in the characteristics of mixed-flow turbines with different specific speeds,classification studies are required.In this paper,the high-speed,medium-speed,and low-speed mixed-flow practical unit is taken as an example to construct approximate mathematical expressions of its efficiency and flow,and various characteristic curves of the turbine are simulated by the MATLAB programming software,and the comprehensive characteristics of the simulated operation are simulated.The curve was compared with the traditional turbine operation characteristics curve to verify the validity and accuracy of the mathematical model of the turbine characteristics curve.Use Python to write software for development tools and manage the various characteristics of the simulation.The results show that this method of constructing mathematical analytical formulas can approximate the various characteristics of the turbine's full range of curves,which is different from the heavy workload of the traditional methods.It only requires the basic characteristics of the turbine,and the mathematical analysis of the structure can be used.It is simple and convenient to get the full range of characteristic curves of the Francis turbine.
