With the development of social economy and the change of cultural structure,people put forward more requirements for urban functions.While the social structure of the city and people's production and life style have changed fundamentally,the old city blocks which originated from the traditional social economy and provide services for the agricultural society can no longer meet people's new needs.The original block space has been distorted and lacks a sense of belonging after the homogenization of the urban landscape in the transformation mode.The decline of the traditional historical block is inevitable.The protection and renewal of historical blocks is a systematic problem involving many aspects,such as society,economy,culture and material space.With the rapid development of economy and urbanization,the development planning of traditional historical and cultural blocks also needs to keep pace with The Times.The innovation of this project lies in the combination of the protective renewal and reconstruction of the historic block,and the implementation of different treatment methods for the historical protected block and the non-protected block,so as to achieve the goal of exploring the reconstruction and design methods of the historical block in line with China's national conditions.By means of structural adjustment,functional reorganization and other methods,historical blocks can adapt themselves to the rhythm of modern cities,inherit traditional culture and regional characteristics,strengthen the inherent value of land,and improve urban functions.In under the guidance of the theory of environmental behavior and psychology,to communication between people,between people and neighborhood space become more close relationship,improve the participation between people and the historical block,response to residents' emotional appeal,to meet the demands for material environment and spiritual double value,promote the formation of the historical blocks in the social network;In the exploration,we can summarize the design strategy suitable for the reconstruction of the comprehensive value system of contemporary historical blocks,form a systematic cultural and creative industry and put it into practice,so as to drive the development of the new industrial culture of the base.The design and renovation concept of the historical block on the north side of heping street is extracted from the "water + architecture + street" composition modeof fengjing.The block is divided into four business types: tourism experience area,cultural display area,ecological leisure area and people's livelihood area.Through exhibitions,culture,creativity,ecology and people's livelihood,the historical blocks of heping street are transformed to carry out people-oriented organic renewal and drive the development of the blocks.Continue the unique culture of Shanghai represented by fengjing town,protect the carriers of these historical cultures,make the historic district full of new vitality and vigor,and explore a more suitable road for the historical district of our country.
