The traditional automobile engine cooling water pump is mechanical,and its rotational speed is directly coupled with the engine speed.Under most working conditions,it is in an excessively cooled state,resulting in waste of energy.In order to reach the national target of "10%reduction in fuel consumption in 2020 compared to 2015",major automobile manufacturers began to optimize the integration of traditional engine cooling systems and proposed the concept of "automobile thermal management".Automotive thermal management technology aims to optimize the heat-dissipating components such as electronic thermostats,electronic fans and electronic water pumps,and efficiently adjusts the coolant temperature to ensure that the engine is at the best operating temperature.This thesis develops a set of measurement and control system based on the electronic water pump in the automobile thermal management module.In addition to the realization of the electronic water pump data acquisition,display and storage and other basic functions,a fuzzy PID control strategy aiming at the speed is designed to achieve optimal control of engine temperature.The control system is divided into two parts:the measurement controller and the upper computer.STM32F103RBT6 is the core processor of the measurement and control device.It can not only collect relevant data of the pump and engine,monitor equipment operation,but also issue instructions to control the operation of the pump.The measurement controller communicate with the upper computer by serial port,and the communication protocol can be defined independently.The upper computer is designed based on the Android system,realizing the real-time display and storage of the measured data collected and uploaded by the measurement and control device.At the same time,the upper machine has the function of manually setting the target temperature to facilitate users to optimize the coolant temperature and pump speed control strategy.The upper computer also has the function of wireless hotspot,which can remotely transfer the file storing data to the user's mobile terminal.The test results show that the function and performance of each module of the measurement and control system meet the design requirements.Based on the fuzzy PID control strategy,the precise control of the coolant temperature and the pump speed can be achieved to achieve the design goal.
