Research On The Product Design Of Moxibustion Device Based On The Situational Method

In recent years,moxibustion has attracted more and more attention from the public because of its advantages.The moxibustion industry has shown a booming trend,but the development of moxibustion-related products has not kept in step with the moxibustion industry.In point of moxibustion device,as an important auxiliary device in moxibustion,there is still much improving space.In order to make the moxibustion process simple and easy,and to make the use of moxibustion device more comfortable to meet the needs of users,so that more people benefit from the moxibustion.Based on the background information,the paper conducted a study on the design of moxibustion device.Nowadays,the designer’s subjective experience and design judgment can not accurately meet the needs of users.Only from the perspective of users can we design products that are more suitable for users’ needs.Therefore,this paper proposes the scenario method,and explores the design direction of new moxibustion device by constructing the usage scenario of future users.Firstly,this paper studies the scenario method,and clarifies the basic principles and use flows of this method in product design.Secondly,this paper studies the target user groups and target products.Specifically,positioned and analyzed the target user groups of moxibustion products,studied and explored the current situation and development trend of moxibustion device.Thirdly,this paper created personas and usage scenarios,fully explored user needs by studying user behaviors from the scenario.Finally,this paper confirmed the solution strategy,and designed the hardware and software respectively.Through the design practice,this paper detailedly elaborates the design process and the method of scenario,finds the opportunity to design the moxibustion device.Finally,this paper obtains the moxibustion device hardware which is temperature controllable,comfortable and easy to use,as well as the software APP with the functions of consulting moxibustion knowledge,purchasing moxibustion products,Bluetooth remote control and moxibustion consultation.The combination of software and hardware makes the whole moxibustion process easier,provides a new idea for the design of moxibustion devices.
