Research On Hotel Interior Design From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

With the development of social economy in China,people’s living standards are constantly improving,and they begin to pursue quality life beyond the basic needs of clothing,food,housing and transportation.Tourism is one of the popular ways of life,leisure and entertainment.And the abundance of material life makes people’s spiritual and cultural needs in tourism experience increase constantly.This spiritual demand is increasing day by day,which puts forward higher requirements for the main body of tourist accommodation-hotels,the quality connotation of such residential environment.Hotel,as a symbol of experiential quality tourism residence,plays an important role in the tourism industry.However,in the interior design of modern hotels in China,it often shows the neglect of regional and cultural characteristics,convergence of design methods,a large number of replication and stacking methods to reduce the cost of design and construction,which shows the short-sightedness of realism in pursuit of maximizing commercial interests and limits its long-term development.In the face of the impact of strong economic interests,how to integrate higher-level design techniques and aesthetic concepts with people’s spiritual pursuit to improve the connotation and quality is an important part of local tourism.In view of the above-mentioned practical problems,this paper takes the regional culture as the breakthrough point to further study the regional human characteristics of Yangzhou,expresses the regional cultural characteristics through the interior space design of Yangzhou "Moonside Bay" Hotel,and explores how to promote the regional culture and enhance the connotation quality of the hotel.This paper is divided into two parts,graduation thesis and graduation creation.The first part is graduation thesis,which is based on "basic learning-exploratory thinking-Inspiration Summary-Design practice".Introduction:This paper elaborates the research background,significance,research status,etc.and introduces the relevant research background.Chapter 1:defines the related concepts of this topic,which paves the way for the research.Chapter 2:analyses the regional cultural factors in Hotel design.Chapter 3:sorts out the classification of Yangzhou regional culture.Chapter 4:exploration and summary based on theory.The Yangzhou regional culture is applied to the interior design practice of the project.The second part is graduation creation,which shows the process from sketch to realization of Yuebanwan Hotel design through certain steps.
