In the new teaching forms such as flipping classrooms,online experiments and extra-curricular independent experiments,students need to be able to conduct experimental research anytime and anywhere to achieve a borderless experimental teaching system.However,the electronic experimental instruments such as regulated power supplies,signal sources,and oscilloscopes required for the completion of traditional basic electrical experiments have the disadvantages of large size and high price,and it is difficult to meet the needs of such teaching systems.In order to meet the needs of this kind of teaching,this paper designs a multi-functional portable electronic experimental instrument based on mobile terminal control,and based on this instrument,designs a new borderless basic electrical experimental teaching system.The electronic experimental instrument designed in this paper contains three parts:hardware device end,mobile terminal application and server program.The hardware device end is connected to the mobile terminal through Wi-Fi,and has the functions of digital signal output,DC voltage output,signal source output and signal acquisition under the control of the mobile terminal application,which can meet the needs of basic electrical experiments for electronic experimental instruments such as regulated power supplies,signal sources and oscilloscopes.In addition to realizing the control of the hardware device end,the Android-based mobile terminal application can help students learn and master experimental principles,upload experimental reports to server programs and communicate with server programs to achieve good interaction between teachers and students.The server program receives the experiment reports uploaded by students,and sends the teacher's reply information back to the mobile terminal application.The main work and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)The hardware and software development of the hardware device end is designed and implemented.The developed hardware device end can meet the performance requirements of the basic electrical experiments on the electronic experimental instruments such as power supply,signal source and oscilloscope.(2)A mobile terminal application developed based on Android,can help students to control the hardware device end comprehensively,and complete the good interaction between teachers and students together with the developed server program;(3)A low-cost and high-precision voltage reference source is realized by parallel digital to analog conversion chips and software optimization.Based on the developed electronic experimental instrument,this paper proposes and verifies a new set of borderless experimental teaching system.By comparing with the traditional experiments using standard experimental instruments,it is proved that the multifunctional portable electronic experimental instrument designed in this paper can meet the performance requirements of the basic electronic experiment.At the same time,the instrument has the characteristics of small volume,low cost and convenient communication between teachers and students,which is conducive to large-area promotion,and breaks the limitation of traditional experimental teaching methods on students' space and time,and realizes the teaching system of borderless experiment.
