With the development of computer, communication and control technology, which is called the 3C, the continuous progress of human society and the standard of living has been made. The requirements of quality, comfort and safety to their own life and work environment are also constantly improved. In 1984, the United States City Plaza Building in Hartford city was built, which marks the birth of the first human intelligent buildings and starting to enter the human’s eyesight. With the rapidly development of Wi-Fi、Bluetooth、ZigBee and other wireless communication technologies, as well as the increasing popularity of embedded operating systems, such as Android、iOS and so on, for intelligent mobile devices, it is possible to implement the building electrical monitoring through mobile client terminal. In this way, it is convenient and flexible for local control, layout design and device wire arrangement. It is also quick and easy with good mobility and novel mode. It develops well with good usability and popularity.The hardware architecture of building electrical control system is established, which is based on the self-developed L-N bus technology, the bus node, gateway and others functional modules. Various wireless communication technologies are analyzed and compared and the Wi-Fi wireless communications solution is selected to use. Then the conversion circuit implementing Wi-Fi to UART port in the gateway module is designed, integrating the Wi-Fi technology into the building electrical monitoring to build the electrical wireless monitoring system hardware architecture.The platform for Android based application development is established and the functions of building electrical monitoring mobile client software are analyzed and implemented, including main interface. The mobile client software achieve not only the basic monitoring functions of building electrical control system, but also other function such as user login, configuration programming and scene file sharing. Android mobile client software for building electrical control is developed.The communication network and bus message package for wireless monitoring system is also investigated in this dissertation. After linking into the Wi-Fi local area network, the communication between mobile client and gateway module is built on Socket TCP/IP protocol and message protocol to implement electrical monitoring.Finally, unit testing and functional testing for client software are executed, and overall test by means of the L-N bus local monitoring network is also executed. The results show that the developed client monitoring software can complete building electrical monitoring system through Wi-Fi wireless communication, achieving the design requirements. The software is of high reliability and stability with user friendly operable feeling.
