With the continuous advancement of the national smart grid construction,especially after the State Grid proposed the construction of “ubiquitous power Internet of Things”,Narrow Band Internet of Things(NB-IoT)wireless communication has become an important research direction of smart meters.The in-depth research and design of smart meters has great practical significance and broad market space.The single-phase smart meter in this thesis adopts the combination of “special metering chip + MCU+NB-IoT”,with STM32 as the main control chip,ATM90E26 as the energy metering chip,and BC-95 as the NB-IoT wireless communication chip.It has the characteristics of high precision and low power consumption,which effectively improves the reliability of data transmission control,and is based on the cellular mobile network,in line with the development trend of building a "ubiquitous power Internet of Things".In view of the fact that some smart meters in the current market do not have the online upgrade function,this thesis designs a remote upgrade subroutine in the software part,and the staff can complete the remote upgrade of the smart meter at the main station.Compared with similar products,the circuit in this design scheme is safe and reliable,and the overall performance of the smart meter is stable,which has a very broad market prospect and application value.Firstly,the research background and significance of this thesis are introduced,and the development status and trend of smart meters at home and abroad are analyzed.Secondly,the working principle of the single-phase smart meter and the overall scheme design are studied.Then,the hardware design of the smart meter is introduced,the overall structure block diagram of the hardware design is given,and the design ideas and functions of the main function module circuit schematic are analyzed in detail.Based on the hardware circuit design,the overall architecture and development environment of the software design are introduced,and the main program of the software and some sub-program designs are analyzed in the form of a schematic diagram.Finally,in accordance with the test requirements in the single-phase smart meter technical specifications issued by the National Energy Administration,NB-IoT communication verification,remote upgrade verification,power consumption test and partial accuracy test were carried out through the test platform.The test results show that the single-phase smart meter in this thesis meets the design specifications.
