With the development of economy and society,passenger train becomes an important choice for people's travel,even the first choice.The frame is the core part of bogie of passenger train,and the frame has the following important functions:(1)to transfer the load between the car body and the wheelset;(2)the wheelset axle box component of bogie,the central suspension and traction device,the brake device,pipes and lines,and other accessories are installed on the frame.The performance of the frame will directly affect the performance of the bogie,and then affect the running stability and safety of the vehicle.Therefore,the frame should have reasonable structure,sufficient strength and stiffness,and combining with the specific project this paper designs a MG passenger train bogie frame,and carries out strength analysis,structure optimization and experimental research to meet the requirements of vehicle operation,and can provide analysis methods and theoretical guidance for the research and development of MG passenger,which also has important practical significance for the progress and development of the technology of MG passenger train.Functional analysis and structural design of MG passenger train bogie are carried out,further Functional analysis of frame is carried out,and the structure of frame is designed based on the design principle.The frame is designed as h-type welding structure,mainly including side beam,beam and additional air chamber,and the frame welding design is carried out according to EN15085 standard.The frame is machined after welding to ensure the size and precision of the frame.The design of the structure of frame is completed,which lays the foundation for the subsequent analysis.Based on TB/T 2637 standard and combined with the actual operation of the vehicle,the static strength and fatigue strength of the frame were calculated and analyzed,and the calculation results show that:(1)under 11 kinds of supernormal load conditions,the calculated stress of the frame is less than the yield strength of the material,which meets the static strength requirements;(2)under 37 simulated operating conditions,the fatigue strength of the frame base material,welding seam and the spring seat of a system all met the design and operation requirements.Through the above calculation and analysis,it is further shown that the structure of the frame designed in this paper is reasonable and the strength can meet the corresponding requirements.Based on the strength calculation results,the original structure of the frame wasanalyzed and studied in detail,and the optimized design and improvement of the frame was carried out,mainly including: lightweight design of side beam;Optimization and improvement of guide structure and positioning structure of brake installation;Optimization and improvement of T-type and HY-type welds.Through the above improvements,the frame structure is more reasonable and reliable,and the processing and welding efficiency is higher and the cost is lower,which can effectively improve the quality of frame and reduce the production cost of frame.
