Magnetorheological fluid(MRF)is a representative intellectual material with the magneto-rheological effect which has become one of an important direction in researching advanced technology and intellectual material.MRF has a widespread use in damper,shock absorber and transmission engineering field because of the unique electro-mechanical coupling performance.The paper brings MRF technology into the field of ammunition engineering on the basis of application prospect and development tendency of MRF and MR devices,and combine it with technology of the trajectory correction projectile actuator,and studies the application of magneto-rheological in rotary actuator technology which has single axis,and supply reference for design the trajectory correction projectile actuator.The following aspects are thoroughly researched in the dissertation:Based on magneto-rheological effect and transmission theory of MRF,studies basic structure form of actuator,and analyse the equations for transfer torque,and it's magnetic design theory.According to the characteristics of actuator,the internal flow field is analyzed in order to obtain the distribution of pressure,velocity,viscosity and transfer torque base on computational fluid dynamics.The influence of different shaft structures such as cylinder,triangular prism,four prism and arc slot,triangular slot,square slot on internal flow and torque is analyzed,which provides a theoretical basis for the design of shaft.On the basis of the theory of electromagnetics,the magnetic field is analyzed with the finite element method.The magnetic induction intensity and the distribution of the magnetic line in the working gap are obtained.The influence law of material and ring on the magnetic field is obtained,provides a theoretical basis for the design of magnetic circuit.According to the result of researching the internal flow field and the magnetic field and the law that has been summarized,two actuator that use cylinder and triangular prism are designed and a principled sample machine is made.The performance of the actuator is tested and the conclusions of this paper is verified.It shows that the technology of magneto-rheological is feasible for rotary actuator which has single axis.
