Switched reluctance motor speed regulation system(SRD)is a new type of speed regulation system with both AC and DC speed regulation advantages.It mainly consists of switched reluctance motor(SRM),power converter,controller and detection device.Switched reluctance motors have the advantages of simple structure,low cost,and high efficiency,so they are widely recognized by people,and have been widely used in electric vehicle drive systems,household appliances,industrial applications,servo systems,and aerospace.At the same time,the switched reluctance motor also has the problems of non-linearity and large torque ripple.Therefore,research on its mathematical model establishment and the scheme of torque ripple suppression will be of great significance to the speed regulation system of the switched reluctance motor.Firstly,the development overview and basic characteristics of switched reluctance motors are introduced.Secondly,in order to accurately model switched reluctance motor,RMxprt software from Ansoft was used to conduct finite element analysis and modeling for switched reluctance motor,so as to optimize the design of its control system and lay a foundation for further research on switched reluctance motor.Switched reluctance motor works following the principle of minimum magnetic reluctance.Then,the working principle of switched reluctance motor and three kinds of traditional control methods are analyzed,including three kinds of traditional control methods are: chopping current control(CCC),angle position control(APC)and chopping voltage control(CVC),and using MATLAB/SIMULINK software its nonlinear simulation model is established,through the simulation of switched reluctance motor has carried on the systematic study.Based on the fuzzy control does not depend on the precise mathematical model of the controlled object,it has the advantages of simple implementation and strong robustness.It is especially suitable for the control of complex systems or processes with strong coupling,time-varying parameters,severe nonlinearity and uncertainty Therefore,a fuzzy controller model of switched reluctance motor is built.And because the angular position control of the switched reluctance motor is not suitable for low speed but is suitable fo r high speed,and the current chopping control is only suitable for low speed,so to adress the issue,the combination of fuzzy control and current chopping control and angular position control is proposed.The method is used to realize the speed control o f the switched reluctance motor in a wide range.The simulation results show that the fuzzy controller designed in this paper can be applied to the speed control of the switched reluctance motor with strong robustness and excellent speed control performance.Finally,the design of the switched reluctance motor speed control system is introduced,including the hardware platform and software design of the switched reluctance motor.The hardware circuits of each part of the system are introduced in detail.The controlled object of this system is the existing 1500 W 12/8 three-phase switched reluctance motor in the laboratory,with TMS320F2812 as the controller,and various experiments on the speed control of the switched reluctance motor have been completed on this hardware platform.
