Cemented gravel dam is a new type of dam that is located between the foundation of concrete gravity dam and earth-rock dam.It has the characteristics of improving the shear strength of loose materials,and the section form becomes smaller.Compared with the traditional dam type,the gelled sand gravel dam makes full use of excavated materials and waste materials,which is not only economical,but also reduces the impact on the surrounding environment.The gelled sand gravel dam has great advantages in environmental economy,applicability and destructiveness compared to other dam types,and has attracted the attention of the international dam engineering community.At present,many cemented sand gravel dams have been built or under construction at home and abroad,but because there is no current design and construction code for guidance,only symmetrical sections can be used for design and construction based on experience,which has largely restricted this new dam Promotion and application.Therefore,this paper combines the national key research and development plan subject-"Physical,numerical model and behavior evolution law of cemented granular dams",and mainly conducts the following research:1)The dam foundation is liable to cause deformation and local damage under the action of the load and the dam body.As a new type of dam,the design of the cemented gravel dam is more general.Therefore,this paper is based on the material characteristics and The characteristics of the foundation,combined with the "Code for Design of Concrete Gravity Dams","Code for Design of Rolled Earth-rock Dams" and related foundation specifications,put forward the requirements for the quantitative index of the foundation of the 100-meter cemented sand gravel dam.The application provides a theoretical basis.2)Combined with the quantified requirements of the foundation control indicators proposed in this paper,considering different dam strengths,based on the "Code for Design of Concrete Gravity Dams","Code for Design of Rolled Earth-rock Dams" and "Technical Guidelines for Dam Construction with Cemented Granular Materials" The section design of the dam body shows that the construction of gelled sand gravel dams on soft rock foundations is restrictive and needs to be repeatedly verified based on actual foundation conditions.Extremely soft rock,sandy soil,cohesive soil,and silty soil foundation cannot be applied to the construction of gelled sand gravel dams.When the dam building material has a gel content of 40 kg?m ^ 3,it cannot meet the dam's own stress or anti-sliding stability requirements under the rockand rock foundation.3)The existing design method is mainly based on the standard theoretical calculation method,but this method cannot reflect the force distribution of the dam body and the dam foundation,so as to further guide the dam body structural design.The dam body is assumed to be a linear elastic body,and the first strength theory is used as the failure criterion.According to(2)the design section is used to calculate the force distribution of the dam body using the finite element method.
