At present, the media has gone deep into all areas of our lives. The development of the media has affected our way of life, way of thinking and even cultural concepts.Ubiquitous media is an indispensable tool for understanding the status quo.Nowadays, the development of media has entered the Web2.0 era, that is,the network era in which social media is booming and people-to-people connections are dominant.Compared with the past, individual voice can spread to the social space and gain unprecedented social influence, which not only stimulates everyone's desire to perform in social media, but also expands the spatial scope of life behavior. As a result, half of the contemporary people live in the real world and half live in the virtual society composed of media. In this media reform, architectural culture is also quietly changing. It not only exists in the real world, but also circulates among media texts. The extensive influence of the media not only brings more attention to architecture, but also sets off a frenzy of image consumption. While human urban life extends to the virtual space, the virtual life is also reacting to the real space. From the perspective of the combination of media theory and architecture, this paper combed the development history of Chinese architectural communication, analyzed the relationship between the leading media and architectural culture in each period, and fond out the current media variables. After that, this study made a content analysis of the architectural texts with relative communication influence from the two aspects of official media and personal sharing through online research.By exploring the specific content of the current architectural communication and considering the release motivation of the information producer, this paper located the current architectural communication and the identity of architecture in the society. The author made an on-the-spot investigation of the buildings mentioned frequently, and also made a comparative analysis with the previous network text. The analysis showed that the spread of social media to architecture constituted a hyperreality phenomenon.
