The development of the new media just like the television culture at that time and the changes in the medium-based cultural styles are regarded as a kind of content that human society must reflect on through technological change caused by the media scientist McLuhan.In his book,he put forward the idea that "the media is an extension of man"("Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man "),indicating the trends and characteristics of media development.Human society is also being created by culture while creating culture.With the development of media,the flow of information based on media has undergone tremendous changes,and this change has not only in form but also profoundly affected society.The construction of ideas.The involvement of the media in its instrumental role in construction production has,to some extent,contributed to the transformation of production.Therefore,one purpose of this paper is to discuss the production and dissemination of modern architecture.Due to the characteristics of social production and changes in the cultural mechanisms behind media development,the author hopes to understand the “modernity” embodied in the media age through the interpretation of construction production and communication.Based on this idea,at the beginning of this article,the author first discussed the three key words involved in the discussion of this article: works,media,and commodities.The process of architectural creation is a process of knowledge production.The use of tools to create works.Architectural creation is not simply a creative act.It also involves the influence of capital,communication,and power.Marx divides the type of production into material production and spiritual production.From a certain perspective,the process of construction production produces both material and knowledge.The act of architectural creation contains a strong purpose of exchange.This can be understood through the architect's social division of labor.The architect and Party A are in an employment relationship.The production of works is accompanied by exchanges.Thus the production of the building is also the production of goods.Therefore,through the dissemination,the process of production of works and their commercialization was realized.Through the critical discussion of the three,the author tried to explain the dialectical relationship between the creation of the media and the production of goods in the media age and media as the link.On this basis,the author tries to further understand the process of western modern building production as two different phases.One is the production era.In this process,the production communication process of architecture is a process of establishing a new social production model(industrialization).produce).Another era is the era of consumption brought about by the technological advancement and deepening of production represented by the media.In the era of consumption,the production and dissemination of architecture manifest itself in the emphasis on the construction of meaning,spectacle,and instrumental rationality.Compared with the West,the dissemination of modern architecture production in China is a relatively short period,accompanied by different stages of national development,resulting in different performance.Since the founding of New China,modern building production in China has been accompanied by nation-building,and construction communication has maintained close ties with ideological propaganda.This process has remained basically unchanged before the 1980 s.An important node is the policy of the late 1970 s.Openness,as a node,China's building production and dissemination has undergone a specialization process.This process has also been accompanied by the socialization tendency of communication that has been triggered by the rise of the mass media.In general,China's construction production communication has also undergone a transition from a production society to a consumer society,but this process is relatively complex and short.The discussion of communication not only designs the historic sorting of construction media as objects,but also an important part is the part of architecture in media.The media environment is divided into two kinds: real and virtual(the virtual environment is also called the mimicry environment).In the process of media development,the relationship between reality and fiction has changed,and the production process of architecture has also evolved from the production process led by material construction to the production of real and hyperreal buildings.Through the media,we have achieved reading of information,but this kind of reading is to some extent a mirror image of reality.Finally,based on the above discussion,the author draws on the characteristics of individuals,creations,and communication in the media age to elicit the media age's construction of concepts,the media's critique of the representation of technological freedom and the media's influence on the creation.The author hopes to obtain an interpretation of architectural works and communication from the perspective of the media age through summarization and criticism.
