Research On The Visual Design Of Yantai Dialect In Urban Culture

In recent years,the visual design of dialect has begun to appear in the works of urban cultural types.As a typical symbol of urban cultural differences,dialect has a high application value in urban culture due to its vivid and interesting expression.Dialect is a unique expression habit of a region,which is often difficult for outsiders to understand.In this paper,from the perspective of illustration translation,visual design of dialect is carried out,and visual language is used to overcome semantic and vernacular barriers to build a link of cultural exchange,which is a beneficial attempt to inherit local dialect and spread urban culture.Yantai dialect is a part of Jiaoliao Mandarin.At present,there are few visual design practices for Yantai dialect.Most of the available materials are from the perspective of linguistics to study the phonetic and semantic characteristics of Yantai dialect.Therefore,based on the previous research results,this paper displays the semantics of Yantai dialect through graphic expression to realize the visualization of the dialect It provides a more modern and perceptual communication possibility for the promotion of Yantai dialect culture.This topic focuses on the discussion of visual design practice of dialect combining with Yantai urban cultural elements.First of all,it discusses the related concepts and relations between dialect and urban culture,analyzes the value of dialect to urban culture,explains the importance of dialect to urban culture,and points out the current situation of dialect development.Secondly,it studies the characteristics of Yantai dialect and regional culture,analyzes the manifestation of dialect visual design,summarizes the design elements,design focus,design methods,and finds the appropriate entry point to apply to the visual design of Yantai dialect.Finally,this paper attempts to show the integration of Yantai dialect and urban culture in the form of illustration,and to explore derivative design and innovative thinking in order to protect Yantai dialect and inherit urban culture.
