Millimeter-wave passive detection system uses the difference in radiation characteristic between target and background in the millimeter wave band to acquire information and then detect and identify the target.It is widely used in battlefield detection,security surveillance and traffic control due to its characteristics of passive sensing,high concealment,strong penetration and all-weather operation.Based on the application of millimeter wave passive detection in metal target recognition,this paper focuses on the target recognition method of millimeter wave passive detection.The main research work is as follows:(1)The theoretical basis of millimeter wave passive detection system and the working principle of typical millimeter wave radiometer are introduced in detail.Modeling the two typical metal targets and analyzing their radiation characteristics.By simulating the antenna temperature mathematical model of planar metal target,the waveform characteristics of millimeter wave radiometer output signal are analyzed,and the rule of output waveform and the method of extracting waveform characteristic information are summarized.(2)The principle and mathematical model of support vector machine and fuzzy support vector machine are introduced systematically.In order to solve the problem of samples with noise influence in the data collected by the target information,an optimized target recognition algorithm based on fuzzy support vector machine is studied.The simulation results show that the optimization method can obtain better target recognition effect.(3)According to the principle of shrinkage measurement,the antenna temperature of metal target under different background is measured,and the characteristic of antenna temperature curve of typical metal target is analyzed.Aiming at the problem of recognizing armored target by passive millimeter wave detection system on battlefield,this paper studies a method of target recognition based on millimeter wave Radiation characteristics,and proposed the armored target conformity as the identification feature parameter for identifying the armor target.the experimental data shows the characteristic parameter is valid.The experimental results show that the proposed method can not only achieve a higher recognition accuracy for armored targets,but also distinguish jamming targets with different structures.
