Passive millimeter-wave(PMMW)radiation detection technology has good concealment,and MMW have a good penetration of cloud,fog,and ability.Therefore,PMMW radiation detection technology can be used to detect ship targets in complex marine environment.However,most of the current passive MMW radiation detection technologies judge the target based on the single brightness temperature difference information,which is difficult to meet the practical requirements in the application of sea surface ship target detection.In this paper,the MMW image characteristics and target detection methods of ships target and wakes are studied based on actual scenes.It mainly includes the following contents:The characteristics of target reflection and target detection method of ship target in MMW radiation images are studied.First,the interaction principle and brightness temperature rule between ship target and background are analyzed according to the principle of MMW radiation imaging.Then,to avoid the mistaken recognition of the reflection area as the ship target,the image registration method is used to segment the ship target and its reflection.Finally,the ship MMW radiation reflection imaging experiment is introduced.The registration method is used to segment the ship target and reflection area,which verifies the correctness of the reflection detection method.The MMW polarization radiation difference between sea surface ship target and sea surface background and the detection method of ship target are studied.A method of target detection for metal ship target is proposed based on the MMW radiation dual linear polarization discriminator(DLPD).The recognition rate of ship target in MMW radiation image is improved by distinguishing the brightness temperature aliasing between target and background.Finally,this paper introduces the imaging experiment of MMW radiation polarization of ship target,gives the experimental results and verifies the detection method of metal ship target based on DLPD method.The MMW radiation brightness temperature characteristics and target detection methods of ship wakes in MMW radiation images are studied.Based on the simulation of the bubbles distribution of Kelvin wake and turbulent wake and combined with the MMW radiation calculation method,a method for detecting the target of the MMW radiation image of the ship wake is proposed by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of the brightness temperature of the MMW radiation of the ship wake.Finally,the effectiveness of the target detection method of ship wake is verified by experiments,and the feasibility of ship wake assisting ship target detection is proved. |
