The rapid service of domestic aircraft carriers and stealth fighters such as J-20 puts forward strict requirements for insensitive ammunition technology and air defense and anti-missile technology.In order to ensure the security of these important military targets,we must not only vigorously develop insensitive ammunition technology,but also have the ability to effectively attack all incoming missiles.Explosively formed projectiles,as a damage element with strong damage and penetration ability,are a threat factor that can not be ignored for all ammunition.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the response behavior of ammunition warhead under EFP impact with different structural parameters,and the process and rules of different explosive charges being detonated by EFP.Based on EFP penetration theory and explosive hot-spot initiation theory,this paper analyses the initiation mechanism of warhead under EFP impact,and then simplifies EFP and warhead charge.Then,through numerical simulation,the influence law of EFP structure parameters,explosive thickness and impact initiation with or without backplane on shell explosive is studied.On this basis,EFP impact with shell explosive is carried out.By theoretical analysis and calculation,combined with previous studies,the critical conditions of impact initiation considering EFP density and explosive sensitivity are established.Five factors and four levels are simulated by using horizontal orthogonal design,and the determination formula is fitted according to the simulation results.Finally,the experimental verification is carried out.In the experimental study,the high-speed velocity measurement and penetration power verification of EFP are carried out to illustrate the accuracy of the simulation model and parameters.Then the explosive cartridges under three different working conditions of EFP impact are divided into test reaction levels,and the response types under three working conditions are determined.Finally,the calculation results and test results of the judgment formula are compared,and the preliminary explanation of EFP considering established in this paper is given.It is feasible to determine the critical condition of EFP impacting Different Explosives with shell by adjusting the parameters between density and explosive sensitivity.The research results are mainly used to improve the air defense and anti-missile capability of weapon platforms,and also provide reference for the insensitive design of warheads.
