Switched reluctance motors(SRM)have the advantages of simple structure,ruggedness,high reliability,large starting torque,and can run at high temperature and high speed.The products have been used in electric vehicle drives,household appliances,general industry,aviation industry and servo systems field.However,the torque ripple problem of the switched reluctance motor has greatly limited the application range of the motor,and the suppression of the instantaneous torque ripple of the switched reluctance motor has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.In addition,in order to meet people's increasing requirements for motor performance,and to further promote the development and application of switched reluctance motors,other optimizations such as efficiency,speed range and robustness must be taken into account while reducing torque ripple.aims.In order to suppress the torque ripple of the switched reluctance motor,this paper studies the direct instantaneous torque control of the switched reluctance motor.The shortcomings and reasons of the large torque ripple during commutation in traditional direct instantaneous torque control are studied and analyzed.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional direct instantaneous torque control,this paper proposes an improved direct instantaneous torque control method,which can realize that the torque is always adjusted by the inner hysteresis loop of the phase with stronger torque adjustment ability throughout the on-period,Improved the traditional direct instantaneous torque control during the commutation process of large torque ripple.At the same time,the designed improved direct instantaneous torque control strategy is more capable of coping with external disturbances.Direct instantaneous torque control can effectively reduce torque ripple,but its efficiency is low compared with other control strategies.In this paper,through the optimization design of the opening angle and the closing angle,while reducing the torque ripple of the switched reluctance motor,it can effectively reduce the current peak and improve the efficiency of the motor,and realize the multi-objective optimized control of the switched reluctance motor.In the end,a 1.5k W three-phase 12 / 8-pole switched reluctance motor is used as a prototype,a simulation model is established and an experimental platform is set up.Simulation and experimental research are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
