Clinical Observation On Electroacupuncture Treatment Of Migraine Without Aura And Intracranial Blood Flow Velocity

Observing the clinical effect of Electroacupuncture for migraine,and observing the change of cerebral blood flow during the stage of attack and after being treated by transcranial Doppler(TCD).Methods: Combined with hospital of Neurology and rehabilitation department inpatient department in Shanxi Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine patients,all patients underwent neurological examination and CT examination can exclude Other diseases could be excluded from them after the examination,diagnosis of migraine,selected 60 eligible cases and divided them into two groups:the treatment group received electroacupuncture treatment and took the acupoint:Baihui,Touwei,Shuaigu,Taiyang,Fengchi;then gave the patients of control group paroxetine 10 mg with eating sertraline 50 mg,once a day.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy of the two groups and the changes of VAS,pain index and blood flow rate of TCD after the treatment period and treatment course were compared.Results: 1.the clinical score: The score of Electroacupuncture group and control group were significantly lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the score of EA group decreased more significantly than control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).2.Clinical efficacy: after 1 months of treatment,the control rate of the electroacupuncture group was 65%,the total effective rate was 95%,the control rate of the contro group was 45% and the total effective rate was 70%.The difference between the two groups was obvious(P < 0.05).3.The cerebral artery blood flow velocity(Vm)of patients in EA group was compared before and after treatment,MCA(Vm),AVA(Vm),VA(Vm)and BA(Vm) were significantly improved(P < 0.05),there was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group;in addition,RPCA(Vm)RVA(Vm),LPCA (Vm),LVA(Vm),the remaining five were significantly different(P < 0.05)Conclusion: the curative effect of Electroacupuncture on migraine is significant.It can not only treat migration during the stage of attack.in treatment ofexacerbation of migraine,but also have a good long-term effect for the treatment of migraine;electroacupuncture therapy can change the cerebral blood flow velocity,clinical curative effect and TCD results is positively correlated,suggesting that TCD can be used as a reference index of changes in cerebral blood supply before and after treatment in patients with migraine.
