Objective:The fMRI technique was used to study the difference in brain low frequency amplitude ratio(fALFF)between acupuncture and moxibustion FD patients. Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted to enroll 60 patients with FD diagnosis as subjects. They were randomly divided into acupuncture group(30 cases)and moxibustion group(30 cases). The two groups were enrolled with the first scan. The acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture on both sides of ST36,and the moxibustion group was given moxibustion on both sides of ST36.The frequency was 1 time/day.After 5 days of continuous acupuncture, rest for 2 days,1 week for 1 course, for a total of 4 A course of treatment,a total of 20 acupuncture, the second group of patients after the end of acupuncture treatment for the second scan. The data collected before and after acupuncture and moxibustion were preprocessed and processed on MATLAB using DPARSF software to analyze the low frequency amplitude ratio(fALFF).Results:(1)After treatment with acupuncture FD in ST36,compared with before treatment, the brain area with significantly reduced fALFF after treatment is: right middle occipital, right wedge, left anterior lobe, left occipital middle, right forehead The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The main areas of fALFF significantly increased after treatment: right hippocampus, left cerebellum, left lateral hippocampus The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).(2)Compared with before treatment, the moxibustion FD patients with ST36 had significantly lower fALFF after treatment. The main areas were: left anterior gyrus, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);no fALFF was seen after treatment.Increased brain area.(3)Compared with the treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion FD in ST36,the brain area with acupuncture higher than the fALFF value of moxibustion was mainly right nucleus, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);acupuncture was more The brain area with reduced fALFF value was mainly mid-occipital gyrus, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Acupuncture at ST36 for FD may be related to brain area that regulates pain, reduces visceral sensitivity to pain, and regulates mood and visceral sensation.(2)The treatment of FD with moxibustion at ST36 may be related to the reduction of somatosensory and regulation of emotional brain regions, but the specific mechanism remains to be further studied.(3)There is a difference in brain function response between acupuncture and moxibustion at ST36 in treating FD.The difference may be related to the regulation of mood and the change of FD resting state default network.
