| Different social backgrounds,histories and geographic environments have shaped the medical conditions and culture of different nations and unique medical methods and theoretical systems.The developmental history of the traditional medicine of different nations shows the nature of their medical culture,and is closely connected with the overall social development.With the leadership of the CPC and China,the inheritance of national medical protection and culture have received great attention,traditional Mongolian medicine is slowly industrialized,and becomes another option for people besides traditional Chinese medicine and Tibetan medicine.Medical problem is critical to the development of a nation and region.Some scholars used to say:“Three important elements influencing the development of traditional Mongolian medicine are:poverty,stupidity and disease".Before the establishment of the autonomous region,diseases were widely spread in Mongolia,its medical system was weak with abominable medical environment and imperfect policies,which directly influenced the growth of Mongolian population and social development.These circumstances are presented in the ratio of birth rate and death rate of population.After the establishment of the autonomous region,China started to attach importance to traditional Mongolian medicine,suited its measures to the local conditions of Mongolia,proposed relevant policies,Chairman Ulanhu said:“The improvement of people’s life quality cure diseases and changes the previously situation of the inability to cure diseases,in particular,the growth of the population in the pastoral area ushers in a new century.The paper discusses the medical development and policies of Inner Mongolia from the 1970s in three chapters,from the difficulty of medical condition before the establishment of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,imperfectness of policies to the improvement of medical conditions with the leadership of the CPC and the country,increase in population,overall development of the society and the modernization and perfection of medical institutions.Medical and anthropological theories,investigation and Q&A are applied as research methodology. |
