Meta-analysis Of The Clinical Efficacy And Safety Of Integrated Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Deep Vein Thrombosis Of The Lower Extremities

Purpose: To understand the status of published paper about integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for lower deep venous thrombosis(LDVT),analysis efficacy and safety of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and provide clinical-based evidence for instructing treatment.Material and method: To search randomized controlled trials of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine from EMbase,Cochrane Library,Pubmed database,CNKI,VIP,Wang Fang data till December 2017.The methodology qualities of included literatures were evaluated according to advanced Jadad scale.Meta-analysis was performed by Revman5.1 software.Results: 32 RCTs on integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine involving 2654 cases were included.Advanced Jadad scale respectively showed 4,3 and 2 scores in 1,10 and 21 papers.Meta-analysis showed that,compared to the control group,the group of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine had higher total efficiency in the treatment of LDVT [OR=3.92,95%CI(3.00,5.12),Z = 10.05,P < 0.00001],D-Dimer[MD=-130.49,95%CI(-190.35,-70.64),Z =4.27,P<0.0001],whole blood viscosity [MD=-0.98,95%CI(-1.58,-0.38),Z = 3.18,P =0.001],Circumferential difference(femur)[MD=-0.88,95%CI(-1.17,-0.58),Z =5.86,P<0.00001],Circumferential difference(tibia)[MD=-0.88,95%CI(-1.26,-0.50),Z =4.58,P<0.00001],VAS [MD=-1.43,95%CI(-2.01,-0.86),Z =4.88,P<0.00001],with significant difference.APTT[MD=0.62,95%CI(-1.19,2.43),Z = 0.67,P =0.50],PT [MD=0.67,95%CI(-0.29,1.64),Z =1.38,P = 0.17],FIB [MD=-0.35,95%CI(-0.71-0.00),Z =1.97,P=0.05],recurrence rate [OR=0.40,95%CI(0.13,1.21),Z = 1.63,P =0.10)with insignificant difference.10 of 32 documents have mentioned adverse reactions.Conclusion: Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of LDVT may have an effect on improving the rate of effective number.However,the quality of the selected literatures is ordinary,and the analysis is still circumscribed.We need more multicentric and randomized double-blind controlled trial.
