Clinical Observation Of Shenqi Dihuang Decoction And Taohong Siwu Decoction In The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes

Purpose:To objectively evaluate the therapeutic effect of Shenqi Dihuang Decoction and peach red Siwu Decoction on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(Qi Yin deficiency and blood stasis)and evaluate its safety.Method:This subject took the patients in the Department of endocrinology of Liaoning Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine as the case source.A total of 106 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random digital table method,with 53 cases in each group.In the treatment group,there were 3 cases of incomplete data loss.In the treatment process,6 cases were not willing to continue to take Chinese medicine,and the control group had 8 cases of incomplete data loss.The final 89 cases were selected,of which 45 cases in the control group and 44 in the treatment group.The control group was treated with western medicine treatment(hypoglycemic treatment of diabetes education,diet control,exercise therapy,insulin based),treatment group were treated with combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment with Shenqi Dihuang Decoction and Taohongsiwu Decoction orally in the control group based on the treatment of Western medicine.The two groups were all 14 days.There was no significant difference in the general data of age,sex,complication and complication of the two groups of observers.Results: After 14 days of treatment,,the total effective rate of the treatmengroup was 93.18%,however,the total effective rate the control group was 84.44%.The rank sum test,U=-2.198,and P=0.001,showed that the differences between the two groups were very significant.The symptom improvement,after treatment,the treatment group compared with control group,the rank and inspection,U and P values see table,after treatment,in improving fatigue,upset,limb numbness,sweating,shortness of breath,fatigue weakness,tingling and differences between the two groups was significant place of(P < 0.01);to improve the dry throat,palpitation,insomnia,dry stool,there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In the treatment group and the control group,the mean blood glucose before 3,the mean value of blood glucose at 2 hours after the 3 meal and the fructose in serum were compared before and after treatment.The results had a very significant difference.P<0.01.Conclusion: Shenqi Dihuang Decoction and peach red Siwu Decoction has good therapeutic effect and no toxic side effects in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(deficiency of Qi and Yin and blood stasis syndrome),which has important clinical application value...
