A Clinical Study On Eye Acupuncture Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine Wax Therapy In The Treatment Of Increased Muscle Tone After Stroke

Purpose:To investigate the clinical curative effect of eye-needle acupuncture combined with Chinese paraffin wax treatment on post-stroke muscle hypertonia,and to compare the changes of ipsilateral muscle tension,motor function and daily living ability before and after treatment in order to judge the clinical efficacy of two different treatment options.To explore the treatment mechanism and clinical curative effect of different treatment methods of Chinese and Western medicine on the disease,and to provide a better theoretical basis for the study and promotion of eye acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine wax therapy in the treatment of increased muscle tension after stroke.Material and method:Sixty patients with increased muscle tension after stroke in the K1 department of Liao TCM Brain.According to the admission time,the patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.After each group was admitted to hospital,they were symptomatic treated according to their underlying diseases,and improved the rehabilitation exercises of the paraplegia limbs.The treatment group received three kinds of acupuncture techniques: eye acupuncture,body acupuncture,and scalp acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine wax treatment.The control group performed the corresponding body acupuncture and Scalp treatment.For each patient before and after treatment,ipsilateral limb muscle tension(modified Ashworth scale),affected limb motor function(Fugl-meyer-FMA),and activity of daily living(ADL)were used to measure Barthel’s index.Make measurements.Results:1.The chi-square analysis showed that the effective rate before and after treatment in the treatment group reached 76.7% and 50% in the control group,indicating that the two groups of treatment had obvious curative effect on muscle tension,and the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.For the recovery of limb motor function,the number of patients in the treatment group and the control group increased significantly by analysis of variance,indicating that both groups have significant curative effect,in which the treatment group was superior to the controlgroup(P<0.05).3.Stroke early application of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine wax treatment for the improvement of daily living has far-reaching significance.Conclusion:1.Eye acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine wax therapy for the improvement of post-stroke muscle tension has some effect,is an effective way to treat the disease,combined with scalp acupuncture needle curative effect than single use of scalp,signs treatment.2.Both groups of treatment have positive significance for improvement of limb motor function,but eye acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine wax treatment is more effective,and its role is greater than the use of scalp acupuncture combined with physical signs alone.3.Stroke early application of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine wax treatment for the improvement of daily living has far-reaching significance.
