Purpose: The research with clinical randomized controlled trial, discuss the effect of Baduanjin exercise on knee stability and balance function of patients with knee osteoarthritis, and to evaluate the efficacy of it.To provide evidence for clinical treatment and rehabilitation of knee osteoarthritis by Baduanjin exercise.Material and method: 160 knee osteoarthritis patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and experimental group,80 cases in each group.According to the latest age classification criteria in China,middle-aged patients aged 50-65 were divided into two groups,middle-aged experimental group and middle-aged control group. All patients maintained the existing clinical treatment. The experimental group was given Baduanjin exercises every day(method: Do the Baduanjin exercises two times with a 10 minute recess between. And it’s about 50 minutes for the exercise.),and take a day off every week. One month is a course of treatment, and keep three courses of treatment for trial. The exercise site for experimental group to take exercise was provided by the research group. If there is bad weather, patients can check in on the APP provided by the research group and do the Baduanjin exercise at home to ensure the authenticity and validity of the experiment. The control group should take exercise according to their own living habits. When the course is over, fill in the report form and analyze it.Therapeutic indexes included evaluation of lower limb function Lysholm score, evaluation of knee joint structure, visual analogy score(VAS),isokinetic muscle strength measurement and evaluation of balance function. To observe the clinical effect of Baduanjin exercise on knee stability and balance function of patients with knee osteoarthritis.Results:1.After 3 months of exercise, there were significant differences in visual analogy score(VAS),evaluation of lower limb function(Lysholm score)and evaluation of knee joint structure between the experimental group and the control group. The intervention effect of the experimental group was significant.2.After 3 months of exercise,in part of isokinetic muscle strength, the peak torque of flexors and extensors in the middle-aged experimental group was significantly higher than that in the middle-aged control group, and there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.3.After 3 months of exercise,in part of balance function, the increase of the ratio of open/closed eye area in the middle-aged experimental group was significantly different from that in the middle-aged control group. There was no significant difference in the ratio of open/closed eye area between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusion:1.Baduanjin exercise can effectively alleviate the symptoms of knee pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis, improve the environment of knee joint and improve the quality of daily life of patients.2.Baduanjin exercise has significantly improved knee stability and balance function in middle-aged patients with knee osteoarthritis.3.Baduanjin,an aerobic exercise of medium and small intensity,is safe and simple. It is suitable for clinical prevention or rehabilitation of knee osteoarthritis.
