Purpose:By observing the clinical effect of treating wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis with ginger moxibustion plus acupuncture combined with Chinese and western medicine,it can provide more effective, safe and reliable treatment for patients with facial paralysis.Material and method:60 patients with wind-chill peripheral facial paralysis admitted to the department of encephalopathy of the second affiliated hospital of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine from September 2017 to June 2018 who met the inclusion criteria were divided into the observation group and the control group 30 cases each by random number table method. The control group and the observation group both took prednisone acetate tablets orally,30 mg per day for 5 days, and then gradually stopped using within 7 days.Mecobalamine capsules were taken orally three times a day for 4 weeks at0.5mg.Control group: take decoction of traditional Chinese medicine to "qufengsanhan, tongjinghuoluo" for treatment, choose qianzheng powder plus or minus. One dose a day, decoction 100 ml three times a day,a total of 7 doses.Experimental group: on the basis of the control group with ginger moxibustion plus acupuncture treatment.Acupuncture points:yangbai, dicang, yinche, hegu, zanzhu, sibai, taichong, yifeng. The needles were kept for30 min. After each injection, three points were selected for alternate ginger moxibustion treatment.Convalescent period: increase acupuncture bilateral side zusanli.A total of 60 patients were treated for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, patients in the two groups were graded by facial function grading(H-B),quantitative table of symptoms and signs of facial paralysis, and Portmann function.Through statistical processing, the recovery status of facial nerve function in the two groups was determined.Results:1.There were significant differences in the scores between the two groups of patients with facial paralysis before and after treatment(P<0.05),and significant differences in the scores between the two groups of patients with facial paralysis after treatment(P<0.05).The symptoms of the two groups were improved, but the experimental group was superior to the control group.2.There were significant differences in the efficacy of Portmann functional score between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),with statistical significance.3.The curative effect of ginger moxibustion with acupuncture combined with Chinese and western medicine in treating wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis is significant, which is worthy of wide clinical application.Conclusion:1.Ginger moxibustion with acupuncture combined with Chinese and western medicine therapy and Chinese medicine combined with western medicine therapy can effectively treat wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis.2.Ginger moxibustion with acupuncture combined with Chinese and western medicine therapy has a total recovery rate, significantly higher efficiency than Chinese medicine combined with western medicine therapy, the recovery rate is more prominent.3.The curative effect of ginger moxibustion with acupuncture combined with Chinese and western medicine in treating wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis is significant, which is worthy of wide clinical application.
