Clinical Observation Of Tongfeng Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis (Damp-heat Accumulation Type)

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy of Tongfeng Decoction in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis,the syndrome is of damp-heat syndrome type,objectively evaluate its effectiveness and safety,and provide patients with clinically safe and effective treatment.Method: This study selected 60 cases that met the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with30 cases in each group.Based on the basic treatment of the two groups,the control group was given oral sodium bicarbonate and febuxostat,and the treatment group was taken with Tongfeng Decoction based on the former.The course of treatment was 14 days.Observe the changes of blood uric acid,joint pain score and TCM symptom score before and after the two groups.Results:1.Comparison of blood uric acid value: the control group had no significant decrease compared with before treatment(P>0.05),the treatment group had a significant decrease compared with before treatment(P<0.05);the difference of UA between the two groups after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the Tongfeng Decoction group is equivalent to the Western medicine group in reducing blood uric acid.2.Comparison of scores of joint pain episodes: the difference between the two groups during treatment was statisticallysignificant(P<0.05),indicating that the Tongfeng Tang group was more able to reduce the number of pain episodes than the Western medicine group alone.3.Comparison of total scores of TCM syndromes: after treatment,the two groups have improved compared with before treatment,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference between the two groups after treatment,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),Indicating that the Tongfeng Decoction group is superior to the Western medicine group in improving the total score of TCM syndromes.Conclusion:Gout patients undergoing uric acid lowering therapy in the acute phase can easily induce joint pain,but taking it with Tongfeng Decoction can reduce the degree and frequency of joint pain attacks.Tongfeng Decoction can help reduce the patient's blood uric acid level,relieve clinical symptoms and delay the recurrence of pain.It has certain clinical effect and application significance.
