| Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of Yishen Huoxue Decoction in treating male infertility of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,and analyze its effect on the main parameters of semen and the level of reproductive hormones.Provide more effective traditional Chinese medicine treatment for elderly male infertility patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Methods: The study cases were selected from the male clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,60 male infertility cases of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type that meet the selection criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The observation group was given Yishen Huoxue Decoction,and the control group was given Shengjing tablet combined with L-Carnitine oral solution,both groups took 12 weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 1course.Patients are revisited every 4 weeks to check semen routine and sperm morphology,etc.,and to test for reproductive hormones before and after treatment,measure and record relevant data such as semen volume,sperm vitality level,sperm concentration,sperm count,sperm morphology,reproductive hormone level and TCM clinical symptom change score.Finally,the obtained data was analyzed statistically to determine its clinical efficacy and draw conclusions.Results:There were 30 cases in the observation group and the control group in this clinical study.One case in the observation group fell off without timely follow-up.29 patients completed the clinical study.Two cases in the control group fell off without timely referral.28 patients completed this clinical study.After the follow-up statistics,two spouses in the observation group were pregnant,the pregnancy rate was 6.90%,and one spouse in the control group were pregnant,the pregnancy rate was 3.57%.The sperm concentration,total sperm count,grade a sperm motility,forward motor sperm percentage(PR),total sperm motility(PR+NP),normal sperm morphology and TCM clinical symptom score were significant in each group before and after 12 weeks of treatment Difference(P <0.05).There was a significant difference in the results of semen volume of the observation group beforeand after 12 weeks of treatment(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of reproductive hormones(E2,LH,PRL,T,FSH)between the two groups after 12 weeks of treatment(P> 0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups had sperm concentration,total sperm count,grade a sperm motility,forward movement sperm percentage(PR),total sperm motility(PR+NP),normal morphology sperm percentage and TCM clinical symptom scores.Significant difference(P <0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.Conclusion: Yishen Huoxue Fang combined with Shengjing Tablets combined with L-carnitine oral solution has a good effect on elderly male infertility patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis type.Yishen Huoxue Fang is better than Shengjing Tablets combined with L-carnitine oral solution.Yishen Huoxue Recipe can significantly improve the semen quality parameters of elderly male infertility patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis,and improve clinical symptoms. |
