ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Yishen Daotan decoction combined with acupuncture on endometrial thickness, ovulation rate, pregnancy rate,TCM syndrome score and non-pregnant women’s sex hormone level with kidney deficiency,phlegm-stasis type PCOS,and to evaluate its clinical therapeutic effect,so as to provide clinical reference.Methods74 infertile PCOS patients with kidney deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis who met the inclusion criteria were divided into 2 groups according to the principle of randomization and control, with 37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine(letrozole + Human chorionic gonadotropin),and the experimental group was treated with Yishen Daotan decoction and acupuncture on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles. The intrauterine membrane thickness on HCG day, ovulation rate, pregnancy rate,TCM syndrome score and non-pregnant women’s sex hormone level in both groups were observed after treatment, and the clinical efficacy of different treatment schemes were compared.Results(1)General information: Before treatment, there were no significant differences in age, infertility years, infertility types,TCM syndrome scores, endometrial thickness and basic sex hormone levels between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.(2)Endometrial thickness on HCG day: After treatment, the endometrial thickness on HCG day in the experimental group was significantly thicker than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)Cycle ovulation rate: In the experimental group,a total of 93 cycles were treated, including 78 ovulation cycles, with an ovulation rate of 83.87%;The control group was treated for 100 cycles, with 65 ovulation cycles, and the ovulation rate was 65.00%.The ovulation rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(4)Pregnancy rate: In the experimental group,18 cases were clinically pregnant, all of which were intrauterine pregnancies, with a pregnancy rate of 52.94%;In the control group,10 cases were clinically pregnant, all of which were intrauterine pregnancies, with a clinical pregnancy rate of 28.57%.The pregnancy rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(5)TCM syndrome score: After treatment, the TCM syndrome score of both groups decreased compared to before treatment, and the experimental group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(6)Sex hormone levels(FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T): Observe the sexual hormone status of non-pregnant women in both groups. There is no significant change in FSH levels before and after treatment. After treatment,LH,LH/FSH,and T are all lower than before treatment, and the reduction range in the test group is better than that in the control group, indicating that both treatment schemes may have the effect of lowering LH,LH/FSH,and T,while the reduction effect in the test group may be better. However, because the change in sexual hormones cannot be measured after pregnancy, there was no statistical comparison between the two groups.(7)Safety evaluation: All patients did not experience any adverse reactions or events during the treatment period, and there were no significant abnormalities in the results of blood routine, urine routine, fecal routine, liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram and other related safety test indexes before and after treatment.ConclusionAcupuncture and Yishen Daotan decoction combined treatment can regulate the levels of LH,LH/FSH and T,effectively improve TCM syndromes, increase endometrial thickness, promote follicle development, induce ovulation, promote pregnancy and have no adverse reactions. It is worth further clinical research and promotion.
