Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to analyze the correlation between different solute transport types of peritoneal dialysis patients and TCM syndrome types,in order to improve the peritoneal transport function through Chinese medicine intervention in the future to alleviate and reduce complications of peritoneal dialysis patients, improve the clinical effect of peritoneal dialysis, improve the quality of life of patients with peritoneal dialysis and prolong survival time, provides new solutions and ideas.Materials and Methods: The cross-sectional epidemiological survey method was conducted on peritoneal dialysis patients during the outpatient and inpatient treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 and February 2020.The general situation(including gender, age, dialysis age, primary disease),Laboratory indicators, solute transport types of peritoneal dialysis were obtained.TCM syndrome of peritoneal dialysis patients were classified based on the TCM Syndrome Differentiation Scale of Chronic Renal Failure. The correlation between solute transport types and TCM syndrome types, laboratory indicators and general situation was analyzed by SPSS 23.0.Results: 1.There were 68 patients with peritoneal dialysis. The distribution of solute transport types were high transports in 7 cases, accounting for 10.3%,high average transports in 28 cases, accounting for 41.2%,low average transports in 27 cases, accounting for 39.7%,and low transports in 6 cases, accounting for 8.8%.2.There were no statistically significant difference between the different solute transport types and the primary disease, the gender, the age and the dialysis age(P> 0.05).3.The relationship between different solute transport types and laboratory indicators: Serum albumin levels are higher in low average transports and low transports than high average transports and high transports;C-reactive protein levels are lower in low average transports and low transports than high average transports and high transports. And the differences in serum albumin concentration and C-reactive protein concentration of different solute transport types were statistically significant(P <0.05)by one-way analysis of variance;Hemoglobin levels are higher in low average transports and low transports than high average transports and high transports, but The differences in hemoglobin concentration of different solute transport types were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).4.Of the 68 patients, there were 68 cases of the deficiency syndrome,24 cases of qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney(35.3%),25 cases of yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney(36.8%),10 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin(14.7%),4 cases of yin deficiency of both liver and kidney(5.9%),5 cases of deficiency of both yin and yang(7.4%),qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney and yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney were the most common deficiency syndrome in PD patients. There were 14 cases of qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney(51.9%),9 cases of yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney(33.3%),3 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin(11.1%),1 case of yin deficiency of both liver and kidney(3.7%)and no deficiency of both yin and yang in low average transports. There were 10 cases of qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney(35.7%),13 cases of yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney(46.4%),4 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin(14.3%),1 case of yin deficiency of both liver and kidney(3.6%)and no deficiency of both yin and yang in high average transports. The distribution difference of different solute transport types in the deficiency syndrome was statistically significant by Fisher's exact probability method(P <0.05).5.The patient's condition was stable and there was no wind-driven syndrome,so wind-driven syndrome was not included in the scope of this study. There were 92 cases of the excess syndrome,10 cases of no excess syndrome(10.9%),34 cases of damp-turbidity syndrome(37.0%),38 cases of blood stasis syndrome(41.3%),10 cases of damp-heat syndrome(8.7%),2 cases of water-gas syndrome(2.2%),damp-turbidity syndrome and blood stasis syndrome were the most common excess syndrome in PD patients. There were 19 cases of damp-turbidity syndrome(52.8%),9 cases of blood stasis syndrome(25.0%),7 cases of no excess syndrome(19.4%),1 case of damp-heat syndrome(2.8%)and no water-gas syndrome in low average transports. There wre 10 cases of damp-turbidity syndrome(29.4%),18 cases of blood stasis syndrome(52.9%),3 cases of no excess syndrome(8.8%),3 case of damp-heat syndrome(8.8%)and no water-gas syndrome in high average transports. The distribution difference of different solute transport types in the excess syndrome was statistically significant by Fisher's exact probability method(P <0.05).Conclusion: 1.The most common solute transport types are low average transport and high average transport in peritoneal dialysis patients.2.Qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney and yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney are the common deficiency syndrome in peritoneal dialysis patients.Qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney and yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney are the common deficiency syndrome in low average transports and high average transports.Especially,qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney is more common syndrome in low average transports, and yang deficiency of both spleen and kidney is more common syndrome in high average transports.3.Damp-turbidity syndrome and blood-stasis syndrome are the common excess syndrome in peritoneal dialysis patients.Damp-turbidity syndrome and blood-stasis syndrome are the common excess syndrome in low average transports and high average transports.Especially,damp-turbidity is more common syndrome in low average transports, and blood-stasis syndrome is more common syndrome in high average transports.
