Thinking On The Improvement Of The Pharmacist's Ability Based On The Investigation Of The Clinical Pharmacy Service Of Chinese Medicine In Medical Institutions

Purpose:Starting from the clinical pharmacy service concept of modern traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),to the core subject of the clinical medicine-doctors,nurses,pharmacists,and patients as the research object,carry out the survey on TCM clinical pharmacy services and demands of medical institutions in our country,in-depth analysis of service present situation and problems arising from the work,different service demands of doctors,nurses,pharmacists,and patients,the demand of TCM clinical pharmacist training,promote the TCM clinical rational drug use,as well as provide reference data and policy proposals for the healthy development of Chinese medicine clinical pharmacy.Methods:The methods adopts are as follows:(1)Literature research:Comprehensively retrieved relevant literature,combing laws,regulations and policy documents on the development and reform of TCM clinical pharmacy in hospitals formulated by related department,summarized and analyzed the current TCM clinical pharmacy discipline,summarized the research status and problems of TCM clinical pharmacy,providing theoretical foundation for subsequent research.(2)Expert consultation:Consulted the experts and hospital leaders in clinical pharmacy,TCM clinical pharmacy,medical statistics,and rational use of traditional Chinese medicine,fully absorb the reasonable suggestions of those experts and leaders to formulate the research program and research system framework,and modify the relevant details of the questionnaire.(3)Questionnaire research;Based on the efforts in the aspects of literature analysis,policy combing,questionnaire design,expert argumentation,and preliminary research,taking doctors,nurses,pharmacists and patients as research objects,do the survey respecting to its general situation,awareness of TCM clinical pharmacists,service situation of TCM clinical pharmacy,service demand of TCM clinical pharmacy,the situation and problems of TCM clinical pharmacist training base,training demands of TCM clinical pharmacist,training capability assessment,employment situation after training,the attitude towards TCM clinical pharmacist as a job,etc.The questionnaires for doctors,pharmacists,and nurses were distributed and recovered in the form of network questionnaires,while the questionnaire for patients was distributed and recovered in the form of Site survey.The questionnaire information was recorded into Excel 2010 and an Access database was established.(4)Data analysis:The survey data were standardized and SPSS software was used to establish the database,which was further analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test,logistic regression analysis,etc.Results:2469 questionnaires of doctors,nurses and pharmacists were collected,among which 2469 were effective,the effective rate being 100%.1272 questionnaires of patients were collected,among which 1125 were effective,with an effective rate of 88.44%.505 questionnaires of students from TCM clinical pharmacist training base were collected,505 of which were effective,the effective rate being 100%.A total of 4246 questionnaires were collected,of which 4099 were valid.The investigation found that:(1)The educational background of TCM clinical pharmacists was uneven and the allocation was unreasonable.In China,TCM clinical pharmacists generally have a high degree of education,but their graduation major is mainly TCM,and most of them are directly employed without formal training of TCM clinical pharmacists.They lack relevant knowledge,thinking and clinical practice skills of rational use of traditional Chinese medicine,and their ability of TCM clinical pharmaceutical care is limited.There is a serious shortage of TCM clinical pharmacists in medical institutions,which is far from meeting the clinical demand and is unbalanced according to the region,hospital type and grade.(2)The TCM clinical pharmaceutical care of medical institutions needs to be improved.Due to the late start and lagging development of TCM clinical pharmacy in China,the public lack of recognition of TCM clinical pharmacists,which brings difficulties to the development of clinical pharmaceutical care.At present,the work of TCM clinical pharmaceutical care in Chinese medical institutions is not in place,the service content is single,the service level is low,the work of TCM clinical pharmaceutical care needs to be strengthened,and it is unbalanced according to the region,hospital type and grade.(3)Doctors,nurses and patients have different demands on the service of TCM clinical pharmacists.Doctors,nurses,pharmacists and patients have a high demand for pharmaceutical care from TCM clinical pharmacists,and they have different tendency,further show the difference according to different departments.(4)The training modes of TCM clinical pharmacists need to be standardized.TCM clinical pharmacist training efforts has appeared,students' ability of TCM clinical pharmacy service has been improved.However,there are existing many problems,such as the TCM clinical teaching work of individual TCM clinical pharmacist training base needs to be strengthened,the setting of teaching group need to be standardized,theory courses and practice courses need to be enriched,lack of clinical practice arrangement,the characteristics of TCM has not been amplified,etc.The training methods and modes are yet to be improved.Conclusion:Based on the service concept of modern pharmacy,combined with the related background of the development of TCM clinical pharmacy in our country for medical care,this study carries out a questionnaire survey to doctors,nurses,pharmacists and patients,which has a good degree of differentiation,large amount of information.The result has the reference value to ensure the authenticity and scientificity of the survey on TCM clinical pharmacy service and demands in China.The thoughts and proposals based on the research have certain feasibility and reference,which examples and guidance for improving the pharmaceutical care level of TCM clinical pharmacists,and provide accurate reference data and theoretical foundation for relevant departments to formulate policies.
