Study On Mechanism Of Investigation And Demand Analysis Of Community Residents’ Awareness Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In Changchun City Under The Background Of COVID-19 Epidemic Situation

Objective:Under the background of COVID-19 epidemic,the cognition and demand of community residents in Changchun were investigated to understand the current situation of cognition and demand of Chinese medicine.According to the research results,this paper further analyzes the possible influencing factors of community residents’ awareness and demand for Chinese medicine,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for improving community residents’ awareness of Chinese medicine and meeting their needs,so as to improve community residents’ awareness of Chinese medicine and their ability to deal with health problems with Chinese medicine knowledge,promote the improvement of Changchun’s community Chinese medicine service ability,continuously meet the service demand of grassroots people for Chinese medicine,put forward suggestions and countermeasures for improving the awareness of Chinese medicine among community residents in Changchun and meeting their medical needs,provide a basis for government departments to formulate Chinese medicine policies,and help play the role of Chinese medicine at the grassroots level.Methods: This study belongs to a cross-sectional study.Ten communities in Changchun were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey by combining online and offline methods.Comprehensively sort out and summarize the relevant theories;Consult relevant experts to design the questionnaire.Form the "Investigation on the Cognition of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Demand Analysis Questionnaire of Community Residents in Changchun City under the Background of COVID-19 Epidemic".Likert5-level scoring method is adopted as the scoring standard,and the final score is converted into a percentage system.The higher the score,the better the residents’ knowledge of Chinese medicine.Spss20.0 was used for statistical analysis,and the counting data were described by frequency and percentage.Describe the measurement data with mean and standard deviation;Independent sample t-test or one-way ANOVA were used to compare between groups;Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results : A total of 645 questionnaires were distributed in this survey,and 631 questionnaires were recovered,with a questionnaire recovery rate of 97.82%,of which 597 were valid,with an effective rate of 92.6%.(1)The total Cronbach’sαcoefficient of the questionnaire is 0.956,and the coefficients of each dimension are 0.922 ～ 0.954,so the internal consistency of the scale is good.(2)The score of TCM cognition of community residents in Changchun is 76.03 11.81,and the total demand for TCM of community residents in Changchun is 72.35 12.63.(3)The results of univariate analysis showed that different ages,the highest education level,income,the treatment cycle of TCM for diseases,the propaganda of TCM,the price of TCM,the technical level of TCM,the taste of TCM and the decocting method of TCM were the influencing factors(P < 0.05).Whether the chronic diseases are diagnosed or not is the influencing factor of TCM demand(P < 0.05).(4)The results of multivariate analysis showed that whether the chronic disease was diagnosed(=-4.457,P=0.001)and the age(=-2.956,P<0.001)were negatively correlated with the cognition of TCM.There is a positive correlation between the influence of TCM on the treatment cycle of diseases(=5.919,P<0.001),the influence of TCM propaganda(=2.952,P<0.001)and the influence of TCM technical level(=2.544,P=0.001)and the degree of TCM cognition.However,the influence of TCM on the treatment cycle of diseases(=2.611,P=0.049),the influence of TCM propaganda(=2.240,P=0.043)and the influence of TCM technical level(=4.681,P<0.001)are positively correlated with the demand of TCM.Conclusion:(1)The community residents’ awareness of Chinese medicine is at a medium level,which still needs to be improved.We should further strengthen the propaganda of popular science to promote community residents to have a deeper understanding of Chinese medicine;The treatment cycle of TCM for diseases,the technical level of TCM,the taste of TCM,the decocting method of TCM and other factors have an impact on the cognition of TCM among community residents.We should improve the service ability and modernization level of TCM from the above aspects.(2)From high to low,the demand of community residents in Changchun for Chinese medicine is Chinese medicine medical service,Chinese medicine health education service,Chinese medicine health care service,Chinese medicine prevention service and chronic disease management service,and Chinese medicine rehabilitation service.According to the above situation,we should strengthen the wide dissemination of popular science to meet the health care needs of residents;Improve the quality of TCM talents in primary health institutions,form a sound assessment system,and increase the reserve of TCM talents to meet the needs of the people;We should also accelerate the innovative technology of traditional Chinese medicine,shorten the treatment cycle,optimize the taste of traditional Chinese medicine,and further improve the residents’ goodwill towards traditional Chinese medicine to meet their needs.
