BackgroundPsoriasis Vulgaris is one of familiar inflammatory dermatoses, longer course,It is easy to relapse and becomes chronic. There is no ideal therapy at present. Most treatment relieved the symptoms and controlled the progress of the diseases.Relapse occurred after discontinuing of a drug. The molecular mechanism has not been completely clarified. It is urgently necessary to find a way to delay the recurrent.TCM Treatment have a definite curative effect,Effects of TCM Treatment on delay recurrence of Psoriasis Vulgaris still need further research.ObjectiveTo observe the effect of TCM in delay recurrence of Psoriasis Vulgaris through comparing recurrence rate and recurrence time of 2 groups(TCM group and WM group),To investigate the influencing the recurrence of Psoriasis Vulgaris through different preconditionings.MethodsWe constructed a prospective cohort study.collected Patient with psoriasis vulgaris from December 2018 to December 2019 in Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Peking University First Hospital,Cured patients were divided into 2 groups according to different treatments,TCM group and WM group.Unified development of follow-up plan. The follow-up period was 6 months,All patients were followed up for recurrence rate, recurrence time, the severity of skin lesions, itching degree.Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier process and COX regression analysis.recurrence rate were compared by Chi-square test. Results:By the end of the follow-up,a total of 62 patients with psoriasis vulgaris were successfully followed up and conduct data statistics,There were 40 cases in TCM group and 22 cases in WM group. There was no significant difference in gender, age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05).At the end of the follow-up period,a total of 34 patients in both groups were followed for recurrence.Using Kapalarr-Meier survival curve to describe the survival rate, the mean survival period of two groups was 22 weeks.the mean survival period of TCM group was more than 24 weeks, the mean survival period of TCM group was 16 weeks,Survival curve showed significant difference(P<0.05).A follow-up of 6 mouths showed that the recurrence rate of TCM group was 45.0%is better than WM groups was 72.7%,There was significant statistical difference(P<0.05).A follow-up of 3 mouths showed that the recurrence rate of TCM group was 20.0%is better than WM groups was 31.8%,There was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).The average PASI score was 4.41±22.33 points in TCM group and 6.41±2.96 points in the WM group. The severity of skin lesions in the TCM group was lower than that in the WM group, and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the degree of itching during recurrence(P>0.05).In the statistics of the risk factors of recurrence, those without obvious risk factors accounted for the highest proportion(35.29%),followed by infection factors(32.35%),mental factors(17.65%),dietary factors(8.82%),and trauma factors(5.88%).With COX regression analysis,Treatment and smoking history were independent risk factors for psoriasis recurrence.ConclusionResearch shows that Chinese medicine treatment can delay the recurrence of psoriasis vulgaris to some extent and reduce the severity of skin lesions when they recur.Although there may be no significant difference in the short-term recurrence rate after treatment,long-term remission is superior to western medicine.Due to the small sample size. There is no way to know the effect of different specific drugs on psoriasis recurrence.More studies and longer follow-up time are needed. |
