This article is based on Nietzsche's book "On the Genealogy of Morals" and analyzes and studies Nietzsche's critique of Christian ideals of asceticism,and explores how Nietzsche criticized and destroyed the decadent ideal of asceticism.And on this basis,further in-depth exploration to reveal the ultimate purpose of Nietzsche's criticism of Christian ideals of asceticism—the destruction and reconstruction of the value system.Through this article,we can promote people's understanding of Nietzsche's ideal of asceticism and provide a new perspective for people to examine the development process of Nietzsche's thoughts.There are four chapters in this article: The first chapter is a retrospection of traditional ascetic thoughts.Through the trace of the origin and manifestation of ascetic thoughts in the general sense,we can understand the difference between traditional ascetic thoughts and Christian ascetic ideals.The second chapter is Nietzsche's critique of the ideal of asceticism.In this chapter,it specifically introduces the ideal of Christian asceticism that Nietzsche criticized and how this ideal is realized.How to destroy social health and poison life,And also specifically analyzed Nietzsche's critique of the ideal of asceticism;the third chapter came to a conclusion after detailed analysis of the first two chapters-Nietzsche's critique of the ideal of asceticism: the destruction and reconstruction of the value system.Nietzsche shouted "God is dead." This shocking slogan reveals the belief crisis and decadent nihilistic tendencies that exist in current society.Nietzsche wants to destroy the outdated Western society through "God is dead" and "Nihilism." The Christian value system,on this basis,puts forward the “Power Will” as a criterion for the revaluation of new values,and at the same time combines Nietzsche's Eternal Samsara theory to complete the reconstruction of the new value system;finally,in the fourth chapter,this paper deals with Nietzsche's The critique of Christian ascetic ideals and Nietzsche's ultimate goal of criticizing this decadent ideal were summed up.
