Oriental Zen In Black And White Photography

Since photography was born in 1837,black-and-white photography has become the first choice of lots of photographers' for its special charm.The photography has also developed into many genres,including pictorialism,natualistic photography,photographic separatism,documentary photography and conceptual photography which is very popular these years.But no matter how these genres change,there are always some photographers insist on black-and-white photography and keep their camera focus on natural scenery.The natural scenery has its own growth pattern.It can bring us different feelings and experiences by splendid postures or amazing details.And those moments are recorded by photographers in black-and-white ways.Black-and-white photos can bring audience into a quiet and peaceful status by its deep and imposing tone.Photographers have created lots of artistic works full of oriental zen with their comprehension and meditation.Meanwhile,photography has also become a way to express themselves.In this article,I will explain the oriental zen in black-and-white photos on the basis of my creating process.And I will also finding the photographers' way to express themselves and thoughts about reality by the way of taking advantage of a scene to express their emotions.
