Since the beginning of the Chinese contemporary art exhibition,various kinds of exhibitions have been held in full swing,and various forms of art works have emerged continuously.On the one hand,the exhibition design based on contemporary art exhibitions has become a new type of industry that has emerged in recent years in China.With the rapid development of Chinese contemporary art,the forms of contemporary works of art exhibit experimental and pluralistic features.The emergence of new media,new technologies,and new materials continues to intervene in the creation of contemporary art.The display of contemporary art is not necessarily a substantial object.,perhaps virtual,conceptual,on-site behavior,and other works of art,also brought new challenges to the display designer,and put forward new requirements for the display design of the exhibition.The domestic research on exhibition design of contemporary art exhibitions mostly stays on the top of the experience,but only in the form of description,no detailed description of operation methods,and lack of complete construction on the theoretical level.Therefore,today's art exhibitions are too simplistic,modal,and homogenous.We are still accustomed to constantly enhancing the visual effects of exhibitions by means of various media and methods,while ignoring methods and ideas that are too old and lacking in contemporary Chinese.The originality of the art exhibition design,localization ideas,and courage to explore Chinese display design issues.This research is based on the author's unique advantages in art colleges,and has also been a subject of concern and practice during postgraduate studies.Therefore,he chose to use a combination of literature research and case studies from the perspective of an interdisciplinary discipline of art and design studies.Methods to in-depth exploration of exhibition methods and display ideas of contemporary art exhibitions.The first chapter will clarify the main characteristics of the concept of "contemporary" from many concepts of Chinese contemporary art in the academic world,and put forward the origin and development of democratization display design;the second chapter will analyze the design of display design in contemporary art exhibitions.Evolution and main features;Chapter 3 discusses the application of display design in display space,lighting,color,materials,new media and other display techniques in the general process of display design;Chapter IV is the urgent need to establish and improve China's contemporary The display design concept of the exhibition,as well as the democratized display design concept facing the future.Finally,through the writing of this article,the author intends to strengthen his own practice in the future and to make some exploratory attempts for the exhibition design industry.
