Research On The Embodiment And Integration Of Chinese Traditional Cultural Symbols In Electronic Music Creation

Electronic music explores the language,expression and meaning of new music by utilizing unique ways of thinking and creative methods.It opens up the creative style of new music,and successfully brings the electronic music to the stage of the world.Now it plays an important role and becomes a key component in contemporary music.Since Electronic music comes from the western civilization,how to integrate it into the unique Chinese music is what we should pay attention to.During the process of artificial creation,we must refuse blind obedience and conscientiously develop the music that particularly belongs to our artificial culture.The Chinese traditional culture has been developed over thousands of years.It is profound,vital and diverse.And it is a precious asset for our country and people.We have an obligation to actively carry it forward and make it competitive to the modern music.In order for Chinese electronic music to play a significant role in the world,we must create the electronic music with unique Chinese symbols.In this essay,we will classify and summarize the use of Chinese traditional cultural symbols in the creation of electronic music by referring to the principle of semiology,and the characteristics of the dominant and recessive symbols implied in electronic music.We will then explore the application of symbols in the creation of electronic music and analyze some original electronic music which contains Chinese traditional symbols.
