Bloom's Literary Classic Theory Research

Harold Bloom is an influential contemporary literary theorist in America.His literary canon theory received great attention in particular.He write many books about literary canon theory,such as The Western Canon(1994),How to Read and Why(2000),The Anatomy of Influence:Literature as a Way of Life(2011),and so on.Once published,these books become bestsellers as they are welcomed by the readers at home and abroad.Through these works,the canon theory of Bloom is expanding and perfecting,forming a rich theoretical connotation.This paper systematically discusses Bloom's literary canon theory,tries to expound it comprehensively and completely,and discusses it's inspiration to China.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,there are another five parts.The introduction part reviews Bloom's life and academic history,and summarizes Bloom's literary canon theory.It points out that previous related studies are not systematic,and rarely cover the genealogy and destiny of Bloom's literary canon.It leaves some space for further research.The first chapter mainly discusses the origin of Bloom's literary canon theory.Nietzsche gave Bloom the courage to hold on to his unique literary canon theory,and chose writers with strong will as literary canon writers.Freud,as "the presence of ghosts",influenced Bloom,and the theory of psychoanalysis provided an analogy for Bloom and promoted the construction of Bloom's literary canon.Romanticism is like a clue that runs through Bloom's literary canon,which makes Bloom set up the values of romanticism and firmly believe in the aesthetic qualities of literary.The "hate school" in the United States subverts the canon reality and urges Bloom to propose his own literary canon theory.The reality of the decline of literary canon promotes the generation of Bloom's literary canon reading theory.The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of Bloom's literary canon and analyze the Bloom's literary canon theory.Through the analysis
