Su Dongpo is a famous writer in the Northern Song Dynasty,in which he is also a politician,thinker,and a great new calligrapher,painter.He is the mainstay of Song Dynasty "Shangyi calligraphy style".Between with Huang Tingjian,Mi Fu,Cai Xiang,who were known as the "Song Si Jia".His thought is not only about the Northern Song Dynasty calligraphy wind,also has a profound influence on the later calligraphy history.As a calligrapher and scholars,Su Dongpo has many accomplishments on the study.On which he had an immense number of books.In the aesthetics of calligraphy,"natural charm" leading his aesthetic ideal,not only in the calligraphy works,also can be seen in his literary works and painting postscript.This paper takes Su Dongpo's natural aesthetic ideal in calligraphy as the object of study.The author tries to collect relevant materials,and hopes to have a complete understanding of Su Dongpo's natural aesthetics.
